The etalon is use of the Fabry-Parot beam interference principle, the two surfaces of the interference cavity are coated with optical reflection film of different reflectance, and finally form a multi-beam interference cavity, which is equivalent to a narrow-band filter, which is widely used in optical communication wavelength division multiplexer, Inter-Leaver and other high-end devices. The main types are air gap standard, quartz standard, monocrystalline silicon standard and so on.
